Phrases I hate.
“They are going to have to beat them off with a stick” - or anything to the extent where ‘beat it off with a stick’ comes into play. Has anyone ever beat anything with a stick/had success with this tactic? Do they seriously mean a stick aka tree branch? It seems kind of silly doesn’t it? I mean, give me a BAT or a metal PIPE or a 4X4 but a stick? A stick ain’t scaring no man i’m afraid.
