A report from the springsteen show from a die hard...

What happened to PB & J?
doctornecessiter: rooseter: The Washington Post Food section has an interesting take on what to pack in your kid’s lunchbox. As I read it, the only thing I could hear in my head was “REALLY?!?!” by Seth and Amy. Here are some of their suggestions: Main course: Plantain wrap with tangy black bean spread, Onigiri (shape cooked sticky rice into balls or triangles), Vegan Pad Thai, Sunny Tofu...

One of the best days of your life
is the day you wake up and you feel appreciated by all the people that matter to you, all at the same time; family, friends, significant others, coworkers, employers. That is a damn fine day my friends, a damn fine day.

Purging my itunes
beerandpork: doublewhiskeycokenoice: angelachaserules: I spent some time last night getting rid of music from my itunes that i never did or will ever listen to. The Bonnie Prince Will Oldham was amongst these cds. He’s a little bit of a drag, too dark and i never really felt the need to listen to him. I don’t need that sad bastard in my life. Phrases I hate.
“They are going to have to beat them off with a stick” - or anything to the extent where ‘beat it off with a stick’ comes into play. Has anyone ever beat anything with a stick/had success with this tactic? Do they seriously mean a stick aka tree branch? It seems kind of silly doesn’t it? I mean, give me a BAT or a metal PIPE or a 4X4 but a stick? A stick ain’t...
